Horse Riding Booking Conditions

Riding is a risk sport. Your choice to ride is voluntary. We take care to provide suitable and safe horses for our customers but all animals can be unpredictable. We insist you have full personal accident cover. Clients should purchase travel and personal insurance no later than at the time the balance is due in order to cover themselves for their own cancellation or accident while on or around horses. It is the client’s responsibility to arrange suitable adventure travel insurance with benefits that include cover for any hazardous activities they intend to pursue, as well as personal accident, medical expenses, repatriation and loss and damage to personal effects. We exercise all due care, but we take no responsibility for any damage or injury you sustain while on or around horses.
Full payment is to be paid on arrival. If bank transfers are used charges are to be borne by the client.
The client undertakes to comply with the laws and regulations, whether in respect of health, immigration, exchange control or any other matter in Uganda.
Nile Horseback Safaris reserves the right to deviate from the advertised expedition route if in their reasonable opinion such deviation is necessary for the safety or well being of any or anyone of the members of the expedition or for the satisfactory progress of the expedition.
The client agrees to indemnify Nile Horseback Safaris against any claim or demand made in respect of any accident, personal injury or loss of life caused to, contracted or suffered by the client during the course of the expedition.
If the tour leader considers the actions or conduct of any client is likely to prejudice the safety or well being of all or any members of the trip or satisfactory progress of the trip then he/she shall be entitled to order the client to leave the expedition immediately with no refund of the trip price and all liability and responsibility that the company may bear to the client will immediately cease, including any provision for alternative transport.
In the event of any person leaving the expedition of their own accord or in the extenuating circumstances being asked to leave by the tour leader, that person will be liable for their own maintenance and expenses and have no claim against Nile Horseback Safaris whatsoever.
Nile Horseback Safaris reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

Clients must reimburse Nile Horseback Safaris for any expenses incurred on behalf of the client.
We charge in Ugandan Shillings however we do accept $US dollars but the value of $US dollars will be slightly higher than the Ugandan Shillings to cover our conversion expenses. Talk to us on the day of the safari for the current $US dollar price/rate.
